Success in management requires an understanding of the factors that shape individual and group behaviors and attitudes. Managers must be self aware, as well as understand others’ thoughts and beliefs. This course provides the tools and concepts to understand why people do what they do.  How do you improve understanding in order to change your behavior and the behaviors of others? What can be done to prepare for management challenges?

This course, grounded in social psychology, focuses on the cases of behavior, including the participant’s own behavior. The course introduces frameworks and principles aimed at more effectively managing self and others.
